Fedtobeasts - Album A

Released February 23rd, 2022, Album A by Fedtobeasts was one of the more interesting albums recorded in the underground scene of 2022, albeit poorly executed.

Firstly, the album is respectfully well composed. The interplay of neoclassical instrumentals on steppin' down Is quite neat. Distance’s progression is fantastic; constantly building tension and successfully delivering its pay-off. G#hosts on film is another fire track, in which the fuzzy synthetics perfectly pair with the flaunt piano. The album’s lack of notability stems from two major issues; the over-reliance on hip-hop elements paired with the poor production. While the classical elements are very well constructed, the beats are what you’d expect to hear on a typical amateur SoundCloud rapper’s page; they sound like free loops. Additionally, the mixing is almost non-existent. Everything sounds flat or noticeably midi. This certainly doesn’t help the filler, such god is a nominal affair.

Fedtobeasts is an artist to pay attention to. If the artist can improve upon his two weakest elements, he’ll undoubtedly be successful on his next output. There’s clearly a very competent composer behind these charming tracks; he just needs a more adept producer.
