Zero Point Fool – Out of Anger

Zero Point Fool, formerly known as RedShadow, has transformed himself both sonically and via title. Focusing less on clean indie rock aesthetics and instead on gritty industrial textures, Zero Point Fool has developed a sound far more inimitable and sonically appealing. It may be short, and somewhat underdeveloped, but Out of Anger is wholly satiating.

GET ME A NOOSE thrusts the listener into its gritty, vibrant soundscape. ELECTRIC EMBRACE expands upon it with its cryptic, delirious melody, dissonant guitars, and trippy beats. SCHIZO (Free Jammin') is absorbingly cathartic, though sounds more like an experiment than anything else. Nonetheless, despite only featuring three songs, the EP leaves quite the impression. This is due to the magnificent layering by Zero Point Fool, as well as the whirling walls of accompanying noise that are distinct and recognisable from other noise acts. Here’s hoping the Fool will expand upon these ideas in his next release.
