Nkujarks - Industrial Techno Social Nightmare

Industrial Techno Social Nightmare’s main constraint is its abhorrent lack of production skills, yet its charming compositions exceed due to its charismatic progressions. Sadly, some of its ideas may have worked much better diluted, as they monotonously drag on with little variation. The loops and samples cannot help feel lazily slapped together with little desire to improve upon them, such as during the faster sections of I Swear I Didn’t Steal Those Song Titles From A Kid606 Album, Officer! When the album slows its tempo, it tends to sound stronger; the creepy bell compartments during Respect You It’s The Least I Can Do is a testament to that. Its closer, Obligatory Ambient Track, is unironically the most absorbing album; yet sadly it sadly cannot escape the trap of sounding overly amateurish – along with the rest of the track listing.

One cannot help but imagine how this album may have sounded if mastered by a proficient producer. The album certainly contains an undeniable stream of childlike imagination, yet it structurally feels too robotic and far too repetitive. Perhaps the inclusion of acoustic elements would spruce up its atmosphere; it’s certainly possible as the album’s strength lies within its foundation. Nevertheless, hopefully the next effort will be more refined.
